Neko’s question

ねこの疑問ぎもん

家族かぞくでドライブをしている時とき
ねこ:「あの地面じめんに埋うまってるやつに線せんがついてるやつ何なにー？」
私わたし:「電線でんせんだよ。あれがないと電気でんきつかないんだよ。」
ねこ:「昔むかしは電気なかったのー？」
私:「うん、すごく昔はなかったね。」
ねこ:「誰だれが電気作つくったのー？」
私:「うーん、誰だったかな〜、エジソンかな〜？」
ねこ:「お母かあさん英語えいごじゃなくて違ちがうこと勉強べんきょうしたら？」
私:大笑おおわらい
ねこ:「まあ英語も勉強してもいいんだけど、違うこともしたらいいかなって。」
娘むすめの疑問に正ただしく答こたえるために私も勉強が必要ひつようです(^-^;

Neko’s question

On a family drive..
Neko: “That thing in the ground with the line attached to it, what is it?”
Me: “That’s a power cable. Without that thing, we don’t have electricity.”
Neko: “Was there no electricity in the past?”
Me: “That’s right, a very long time ago there was no electricity”
Neko: “Who made electricity?”
Me: “Hmm who made electricity. Edison maybe..?”
Neko: “Mom, how about you study something else instead of English?”
Me: Laughing out loud
Neko: “I mean, studying English is great and all, but it might be good to study something else too..”
I will have to study to answer my daughter’s questions more properly(^-^;
