Things I learned
I have learned to write neatly!
I got quicker at calculus!

WORDS
- 字を書く（じをかく）＝write
- 絵を描く（えをかく）＝draw a picture
- きれいに字をかく＝neatly
- 計算（けいさん）＝calculus
In Japanese, the most common expression for “learning to do something” is できるようになる。 This translates literally into “become able to do”.
早い と 速い
Both of these read “hayai”.But usage is different.
ex. 朝早い時間。早起き。早く行く。
ex. 足が速い。スピードが速い。
早い refers to time (of the day, as opposed to “late”)
速い is strictly for speed ( as opposed to “slow” )

Although she has learned how to write neatly, she usually doesn’t.
