やっぱり交換して！

ねこは時々ときどきお手て伝つだいスイッチが入はいって「何なにかお手て伝つだいすることない？」と聞きいてきます。

私わたし:「じゃあ、昨日きのうねこが油ゆ性せいペンで机つくえに描かいちゃったところスポンジで擦こすって消けしてみてよ。」

ねこ:「分わかった！」

そう言いってはりきってやり始はじめた。
私わたしは洗濯物せんたくものを干ほし始はじめた。
２に分ふんもしないうちに擦こするのに飽あきたようで、

ねこ:「なんか違ちがうお手て伝つだいと交換こうかんしてよ。」

私わたし:「じゃあお母かあさんがそれやるから、ねこが洗濯せんたく干ほしてよ。」

ねこ:「え〜、じゃあいいや。」

また１分いっぷんくらいたってから同おなじことを聞きいてくる。でも洗濯物せんたくものは干ほしたくないみたいで、断ことわってくる。そのくり返かえしを何なん度ども続つづけて、洗濯物せんたくものがあと３つみっつくらいになった時とき、

ねこ:「やっぱり交換こうかんしてー。」

私わたし:「今いま！？もう洗濯せんたく終おわるところだけど！」

洗濯せんたくが終おわりそうなのを見み計はからって言いったのか、たまたまなのか！？
お手て伝つだいをしたいという割わりには、めんどくさいようです。

Sometimes Neko suddenly gets into a helpful mood and asks me “Is there anything I can help you with?”

Me: “Well, you can try to clean the desk you drew on with permanent marker yesterday with a sponge.”

Neko: “I got it!”

With those words she went off to enthusiastically get started.

I myself got on with hanging the laundry.

Within a mere 2 minutes, she seemed to have grown tired of cleaning.

Neko: “Can you switch me to some other chore?”

Me: “Well, in that case, I will do that and you can hang the laundry.”

Neko: “Ehhh nevermind then.”

A minute later, she asked the same thing again. Still, she didn’t seem to want to hang laundry, so she refused. This just kept repeating and finally, when there were just 3 pieces of laundry left to hang..

Neko: “I wanna switch after all!”

Me: “Now?! I’m about to finish with the laundry!”

I wonder whether she was waiting for me to nearly finish the laundry or if it was a coincidence. Even though she wants to help in theory, in reality it seems to be a bit of a bother to her.
