Caring for one another【気遣い】

気遣い（きづかい）

私わたしは夜よるご飯はんの準じゅん備びで、魚さかなを揚あげていました。油あぶらがはねて飛とんでくるので、熱あつくて、

「あっつ！」

と言いいながら料りょう理りをしていると、

「大丈夫だいじょうぶ？」

と寝ね転ころんでゲームをしていたお兄にいちゃんが声こえをかけてくれました。

その魚さかなは水分すいぶんがあるのか、揚あげるとよく油あぶらがとんできて、それから何回なんかいか「熱あつっ！あっつ！」と私わたしは一人ひとりで言いっていました。

するとお兄にいちゃんが、「そんなに『あっつ！あっつ！』言いわないでよ、僕ぼくが、『大丈夫だいじょうぶ？』って言いわなきゃいけない気持きもちになるじゃん。」

心配しんぱいかけてごめんよー！

また、ある日ひ

ねこがおままごとに誘さそってきました。私わたしは朝あさからたくさん掃除そうじをして疲つかれて、ねこがおままごとする横よこで寝ね転ころがっていたら、本当ほんとうに眠ねむってしまっていました。

しばらくして、ねこがわたしの布団ふとんを奪うばっていったので、私わたしは起おこされて、またおままごとに誘さそわれるのかと思おもいました。すると、ねこは別べつの場所ばしょに布団ふとんを敷しいて、「ここで寝ねてていいよ。」と私わたしのために準備じゅんびをしてくれていました。

それから、カーテンを閉しめて部屋へやを暗くらくして、絵本えほんまで読よんでくれました。

私わたしは、嬉うれしくてすっかり目めが覚さめてしまいました。

Caring for one another

I was frying fish for dinner. The hot oil was splashing a little, and as it was hot, I let out a few comments like “Ouch! Hot!” as I was cooking.

“Are you ok?”
Big brother asked as he was lying down playing videogames.

After that, I kept commenting “So hot!” a few times, probably because of the water inside the fish, it wouldn’t stop splashing.

Then big brother said ” Stop saying “hot!” all the time, you’re making me wanna ask you if you’re ok!”

Sorry for making you worry!

Another day.

Neko came up to me to invite me to play pretend with her. I had been cleaning the house since early morning and was very tired, so as I lay down next to her to play pretend, I dozed off.

After some time, Neko pulled the mattress I was sleeping on out from under me and woke me up. I thought I was being made to play along again. However I saw Neko put down the mattress to prepare a place for me to sleep elsewhere, saying “You can sleep here!”

Then, she closed the curtains, made the room dark and even read me a story from her picture book!

I was so thankful, my eyes were wide open again.
