Helpful Neko【お手伝いねこ】

ねこはよくお手伝いをしてくれます。
スーパーで買かい物ものした後あと、買ったものを持もってくれます。荷物にもつが重おもい時ときは、

ねこ:「手てが折おれる〜」

とか言いいながら運はこんでくれます。
今日きょうも買い物したあとに、車くるまから家いえまで買ったものが入はいったかごを運んでくれました。

私わたし:「重かったねー、ありがとう！」

ねこ:「お母かあさんがこんなに買うからでしょ〜！」

褒ほめようと思おもったのに逆ぎゃくに注意ちゅういされてしまう母ははです。

Neko often helps me out.
After buying groceries at the supermarket, she carries the groceries for me. When the grocery bags are heavy, she will complain, saying

“My hand is gonna fall off!” as she carries them.

Today, after shopping, she carried the basket full of groceries from the car to our house.

Me: “That was heavy wasn’t it, thank you!”

Neko: “It’s because you buy all these things!”

I got scolded when I tried to praise her…

REMARKS

I translated ”手が折れる” as “my hand will fall off” although it would be more of a direct translation to say “My hand will break”!

折れる means to break, literally.
