鯖江市さばえしを中心ちゅうしんに眼鏡めがねフレーム生産せいさん日本一にほんいちです。

勝山市かつやましは日本有数にほんゆうすうの恐竜きょうりゅうの化石かせきの出土地しゅつどちで、恐竜博物館きょうりゅうはくぶつかんがあります。

Fukui prefecture is known as the happiest prefecture of Japan. It got first place in a ranking of the happiest prefectures out of all 47. Reasons for this include for example the fact that Fukui has the highest number of working women, 3 generation households and the highest average level of completed education in all of Japan.

There is a famous sightseeing spot called Toujimbou, a series of cliffs on the coastline that are lined up for a span of one kilometer.
