Go karts

僕ぼくは、遊園地ゆうえんちのような公園こうえんに行いきました。一番いちばん楽たのしかったのはゴーカートです。楽しすぎて４回かいやりました。２回目かいめまでは一人ひとりで乗のりました。３回目はお父とうさんと妹いもうとvs僕ぼくで競きそいました。僕の方ほうが外側そとがわのコースだったので、負まけてしまいました。最後さいごの４回目はお母かあさんと妹vs僕で競いました。お母さんたちが赤信号あかしんごうで止とまってるときに僕はちょうど青あおになって、出発しゅっぱつして、出でだしはうまくいきました。途中とちゅうで抜ぬかしたり抜かされたりしましたが、僕が勝かちました。またたくさんレースをして勝ちたいです。

I went to a park that is sort of like a theme park. The best part was the go karts. It was so fun that I went 4 times. I went by myself the first two times. The third time, I went against my dad and my sister. I had the outer course, so I lost. The 4th and last time, I raced against mom and my sister. They had to wait at the red light, but I got a green light just as I took off, so I was off to a good start. Along the way, I got passed a few times and passed them, and in the end I won! I want to race a lot and win again!

REMARKS

In Japanese, originally there was no word for “green” and “blue” was used instead. This can still be seen when people refer to grass as being “blue”. As a result, the “green” light on the traffic light is also “blue” in Japan.
