On the train【電車の中で】

電車の中で

ねこと私わたしは久ひさしぶりに電車でんしゃに乗のりました。ねこは窓まどから外そとを眺ながめて楽たのしそうです。
ねこ:「ここ通とおったことある！」「あれは公園こうえんかなぁ。」「あ、道路どうろを掘ほってる〜新あたらしいお家うち建たてるのかなぁ。」
と思おもったことがみんな声こえに出でてしまいます。
私:「静しずかに話はなそうね。」
ねこ:「なんで？」
私:「いろんな人ひとが乗のってるから、寝ねてる人もいるかもしれないし。」
ねこはキョロキョロ周まわりを見み渡わたした。
ねこ:「いないよ(寝ねてる人は)！」
ニコッと大おおきな声こえで答こたえます。
私:「そうだけど、迷惑めいわくに思おもう人がいるかもしれないから、静しずかに話はなそう。」
子供こどもに大人おとなの事じ情じょうを伝つたえるのは難むずかしいです。

On the train

Neko and I took a train for the first time in a while. Neko was looking out of the window, seemingly having a good time.
Neko: “I’ve passed by here before!”
“Is that a park?”
“Oh, they’re digging a road, maybe they’re building a new house!”
She said every thought she had out loud.
Me; “Let’s talk quietly, ok?”
Neko: “Why?”
Me: “Because there are lots of people on the train, some may even be sleeping!”
Neko looked around her, then smiled and said in a loud voice: “Nobody’s sleeping!”
Me: “That may be so, but some people may be bothered by us talking, so let’s keep it down.”
It’s hard to make kids understand grownup priorities.
