I want it to come out by tomorrow!

明日あしたまでに取とりたい

ねこは今いまグラグラの歯はがあります。
最近さいきん、「まだ取れないかなぁ。」と歯を指ゆびで揺ゆらしていました。
夏休なつやすみの出校日しゅっこうび(夏休みの間あいだにある登校日とうこうび)の前日ぜんじつの夜よる。
ねこ:「この歯取れそう？触さわってみて！」
私わたし:「けっこうグラグラだけど、まだ今日きょうは取れないかな。」
この会話かいわが５回かいくらいくり返かえされた後あと、
ねこ:「明日までに取りたいんだよねー。」
私:「なんで〜？」
ねこ:「明日みんなに見みせたい！♥︎」
私:「そっかー、そういうことならもっと早はやく言いってくれたら歯医者はいしゃさん連つれてってあげたのにー。もう夜よるだから歯医者も閉しまっちゃってるわ。」
ねこ:「コンビニで取れないかなぁ。」「イオンで取れないかなぁ。」
なんで歯をそんなに気きにするんだろうと思おもっていたら、そんな理由りゆうがあったとは。
子こどもなりに、どんな事ことでも理由があってしているから、よく話はなしを聞きいてみないといけないですね。

I want it to come out by tomorrow!

Neko’s tooth has been wobbly. She has been wobbling it with her finger saying “I hope it will come out soon..”. Then, the night before the one day of school during summer vacation:
Neko: “Does it look like this tooth will come out? Touch it!”
Me: “It’s pretty wobbly, but I don’t think it’ll come out today.”
After having this same conversation about 5 times,
Neko: “I really want it out by tomorrow..”
Me: “Why?”
Neko: “I wanna show it to everybody tomorrow!”
Me: “Ohh really? If you’d told me a bit sooner, I would’ve taken you to the dentist! It’s evening now so I think they’re closed..”
Neko: “Maybe we can get it taken out at the convenience store!” “Maybe at the supermarket!”
Who would’ve thought she had a reason like that for wanting her tooth out as soon as possible! Kids have their own reasons for everything they do, so it is important to listen to them.
